The Cumin spices are primarily used for seasoning in various parts of India in whole and powder form. There are many medical benefits of using Cumin; many ayurvedic medicines are formulated through Cumin seeds.

India and China are the leading producers of Cumin, and Mexico is the largest producer. UK, Bangladesh and the US are the top exporters of Cumin. In 2020-21, India recorded 2.99 lakh tonnes of cumin exports globally.

Chilly Powder

Various Indian cuisines use many different dry chillies in other parts of India. Each chilli comes with its vivid red colour and smoking taste. It is among the popular spices in India. China and India are the leading exporters of Red Chilly Powder and row. In F.Y. 2021, India exported 6,01,500 tonnes of red chillies worth about Rs 8400 crore, the red chilly now accounting to capture 38% of the volume and 30% value of the Indian spices markets.
